Choosing an Executor

When making a Will many people choose spouses, partners, and children as Executors.

Questions crop up such as how many Executors can I appoint?

However, when we delve deeper we often find that our clients have very little, if any, understanding of the role of an Executor.

They appreciate that often professional firms will charge what they view as excessive amounts of money to provide a full Executor service.

When appointing multiple Executors it is important to ensure that they see eye to eye and agree on decisions being made.

When we write a person's Will we ensure that the role of the Executor is fully explained and the requirement for obtaining a Grant of Probate.
